Arsenal need a real striker’ – Pires tells former club to sign ‘world-class’ player to win the PL

Robert Pires wants Arsenal to sign a real striker. He says they need a world-class player to win the Premier League. Pires played for Arsenal and won two league titles. He was part of the Invincibles team in 2003-04. Arsenal has not won the league since then. They have finished second to Manchester City in the last two seasons.  Arsenal is six points behind Liverpool. Liverpool has a game in hand. Arsenal has the best defense in the league. But their attack is weak. Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard have not scored enough goals.

Bukayo Saka is injured. Arsenal needs more attacking options. They have been linked with many strikers in January. Reports say they have been offered three strikers. Moise Kean has 16 goals in 26 games. Mateo Retegui has 19 goals in 29 games. Manfred Ugalde has 16 goals in 22 games.  Jhon Duran was also a target. But he might join Al-Nassr. RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko was another option. But he is not available in January. Arsenal must wait until summer for him.

Pires wants Arsenal to sign Victor Osimhen. Osimhen is on loan at Galatasaray. He has scored 16 goals in 20 games. He is one of the best strikers in Europe. Jose Mourinho called him world-class. Many clubs want to sign him.

Pires spoke to the Daily Mail. He said Arsenal must sign a real striker. He believes a good striker will help them win games. Liverpool and Manchester City have top strikers. He believes Osimhen is perfect for Arsenal. He thinks Osimhen will fit well with Martinelli, Odegaard, Havertz, and Saka. But Pires is not the owner or manager. He is just a fan. If Arsenal signs one player, he thinks it should be Osimhen.  Arsenal has many striker targets. Alexander Isak is one option. Viktor Gyokeres is another. But Osimhen is a proven goal scorer. He has performed well in big games.

Manchester United is also looking for a striker. They might try to sign Osimhen. Many clubs want him. Arsenal must move quickly.  Rio Ferdinand believes United also needs a top striker. Rasmus Hojlund has struggled. United needs a reliable goal scorer.

Arsenal must decide soon. The transfer window is closing. They need a striker who can help them now.  Osimhen is strong, fast, and good at finishing. He can handle the physical demands of the Premier League. He has experience in top leagues. He has played in Serie A and now in Turkey.

Arsenal needs a striker who can score in big games. They struggle to finish chances. Osimhen can help solve this problem.  Arteta has improved many players. Saka, Martinelli, and Odegaard have developed under him. Osimhen can also improve at Arsenal.

He has good movement in the box. He can create chances for teammates.  If Arsenal wants to win the league, they must improve their attack. Their defense is solid. But they need more goals.

Osimhen is the best option. He has shown he can score at a high level. Arsenal must do everything to sign him.  Arsenal fans want a top striker. They know Osimhen can make a difference. They hope the club will make the right decision.  The next few days are important. Arsenal must decide quickly. If they do, they can challenge for the title.
