Marcus Rashford denies joining agency who helped Gareth Bale leave Tottenham to assist Man United exit

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has denied recent reports claiming he joined CAA Stellar agency in search of a new club. The rumors emerged as Rashford’s playing time under new manager Ruben Amorim has dwindled significantly.

Rashford’s situation at Old Trafford has become a growing concern. After a four-game absence from the squad, he did make a return in the recent 2-0 defeat to Newcastle but remained on the bench. These developments fueled speculation about his potential departure, with some reports suggesting he linked up with CAA Stellar, the agency that facilitated Gareth Bale’s record-breaking transfer to Real Madrid in 2013.

Rashford took to social media to address these claims directly. He stated on Instagram that “a lot of false stories” have been circulating, and he has “never met with any agency” and has “no plans to.”

In December 2024, Rashford openly acknowledged the possibility of leaving Manchester United, emphasizing it would be without animosity. He expressed his desire for a new challenge and a clean break, without negativity towards the club.

“When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings,'” Rashford told journalist Henry Winter. “You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.”

Rashford emphasized he wouldn’t dwell on the past and remains focused on the future. He acknowledged his growth over the past nine years at the club but is now looking towards the next steps in his career.

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim acknowledged the complexities surrounding Rashford’s situation. He recognized the influence of external factors on players’ decisions and expressed his understanding. Amorim remains committed to helping Rashford as a player but needs to separate personal choices from professional obligations.

With Rashford’s potential departure looming, rumors about his next destination abound. Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris-Saint Germain, Barcelona, and even clubs in Saudi Arabia have been mentioned.

However, one club seemingly out of the picture is Tottenham Hotspur. When asked about potential interest in Rashford, manager Ange Postecoglou swiftly dismissed the rumors. He stated his lack of interest, acknowledging Rashford’s talent while emphasizing his status as a Manchester United player.

Rashford’s future remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: he is seeking a fresh start. Whether he finds it within the Premier League or ventures elsewhere is yet to be seen.
