Marc Guehi wants to leave Crystal Palace. Chelsea or Tottenham Hotspur could sign him. This is according to CaughtOffside.

Guehi has played for Crystal Palace since July 2021. He joined from Chelsea for £18 million. He has been an important player for the club. He is now an England international. He has played in 27 out of 28 Premier League games this season. He helped Palace keep nine clean sheets.

Last summer, Newcastle United tried to sign him. They offered £55 million plus £5 million in add-ons. Crystal Palace rejected the offer. They wanted £70 million. Despite this, rumors of Guehi leaving have not stopped. His strong performances have kept the interest alive. A move to a big London club is possible.

Guehi has one year left on his contract in the summer. Reports say he will ask Crystal Palace to let him leave. He is 24 years old. He has been the club captain this season. His leadership is valuable. Losing him will be a big blow for Palace manager Oliver Glasner.

Chelsea wants Guehi back. They have been watching him for years. Since Todd Boehly took over in 2022, Chelsea has signed many defenders. But they still need a long-term replacement for Thiago Silva. Guehi could be the right choice.

Tottenham Hotspur also wants Guehi. Manager Ange Postecoglou is changing his defense. Injuries have been a big problem for them. Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero have had many injuries. Sometimes, midfielder Archie Gray has had to play in defense.

Spurs signed Kevin Danso from Lens in January. But they still want Guehi. If they sign him, he will likely start immediately. This means they may not fully trust Van de Ven or Romero because of their injuries. Radu Dragusin is also out with an ACL injury. His future at Tottenham is uncertain. Guehi is on their list of targets.

Guehi’s stats for the 2024-25 Premier League season are impressive. He has played 27 games. He has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists. He makes 0.8 interceptions per game. He completes 1.8 tackles per game. He recovers the ball 4.4 times per game. He clears the ball 4.6 times per game. He wins 3.0 ground duels per game, which is 65%. He wins 2.3 aerial duels per game, which is 59%.

A key statistic is from Euro 2024. During the first half of a game, Guehi completed all 32 of his passes. He also won all his duels and tackles (3/3).

Tottenham offered £70 million for Guehi in January. Crystal Palace rejected the bid. Chairman Steve Parish said that Guehi would cost “superstar money.” But if Guehi pushes to leave, Palace may have no choice but to sell him.

Guehi is not the only Palace player who might leave. Jean-Philippe Mateta is also linked with a move. Manchester United is interested in him.
