Tottenham might try to sign Jadon Sancho in January. Sancho currently plays for Chelsea on loan from Manchester United. He gets paid one hundred thousand pounds each week. He has played five games for Chelsea but hasn’t scored any goals yet. He did get one assist. Sancho has missed Chelsea’s last few games including some European matches.
Tottenham sees this as a chance to get Sancho. The deal would be complicated because three clubs would need to agree. Manchester United owns Sancho while Chelsea has him on loan. Sancho played against Tottenham before and scored against them last April in a game that ended two to two.
Sancho isn’t the only player Tottenham might try to sign. They’re also interested in bringing back Harry Winks. Winks left Tottenham in 2023 to join Leicester City for ten million pounds. Now Tottenham might need to pay thirty two million pounds to get him back.
Tottenham could lose some players too. Pedro Porro might leave as Manchester United Manchester City and Real Madrid want him. Ruben Amorim who knows Porro from their time at Sporting Lisbon wants Manchester United to sign him. People close to Porro think Manchester United will make an offer.
Manager Ange Postecoglou wants to keep his team strong. Tottenham plays Manchester City this weekend at the Etihad Stadium. They beat Manchester City recently and want to do it again. The team also needs players for the Europa League games coming up.
Sancho has played sixty three Premier League games in total. He scored nine goals and made nine assists in these games. His former coach Edin Terzic called him gifted. Even though Sancho isn’t playing well at Chelsea good teams still want him.
