“Celtic Hater Kris Boyd Launches Brutal Celtic Attack as He Destroys Top-class Celtic star

Kris Boyd has aimed another broadside at Celtic, this time at striker Kasper Høgh after Sunday’s 2-1 win at Hibs. The former Rangers striker said Høgh offers “absolutely nothing” as a centre-forward, and the comment is already circulating among Celtic supporters.

Celtic took the three points at Easter Road, but the performance was far from convincing. Fans noted the win was a scrappy one, and Boyd used his post-match analysis to focus on the man leading the line. His verdict was blunt. In his view Høgh is not giving Brendan Rodgers’ successor enough in the final third, whether that means link-up play, hold-up work or a real threat in the box. Boyd stopped short of using the words “waste of money,” but the implication was clear for anyone who wants to read it that way.

He also turned his attention to Camilo Durán, who has been overlooked for the No.9 role he prefers in favour of Høgh. According to Boyd, Durán has every right to be frustrated. Being left out in favour of a player who, in Boyd’s eyes, brings so little would annoy any forward. There has also been talk of Durán’s body language, and Boyd suggested the disappointment is understandable rather than a sign of a bad attitude.

Boyd is hardly a neutral voice, and many Celtic fans have been quick to say so. He has criticised the club and its supporters repeatedly in recent weeks, and his comments sparked a pointed exchange with Chris Sutton on Sky Sports. Plenty of supporters will dismiss this latest verdict as more of the same from a pundit who built his career across the city at Ibrox.

Still, the question about Celtic’s striker options is a fair one, regardless of who raises it. A win is a win, but a team that wants to dominate Scotland and compete in Europe cannot rely on a lone forward who fails to impress. Whether or not Boyd is right about Høgh, the pressure is now on the player to prove him wrong.
